Terms and Conditions

Definitions: – ‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’ means Clientserv Limited ta Paws For A Walk. ‘Client’, ‘You’ means the Owner (as per client information that you have signed)

  1. All ‘Client’s’ will be deemed to have accepted ‘Our’ terms and conditions (as laid out here) and signed (The Client Onboarding and information) to show this.
  2. . ‘We’ will not confirm any booking until a complimentary induction has been carried out with the ‘Client’ and this client information form, with full details of ‘Client’ requirements, has been signed by the ‘Client’.
  3.  Full payment should be made by the end of each session via cash, bank transfer, direct debit, or on a “pay as you go” contract which is left out on the day of the service.
  4. The ‘Client’ must provide all items necessary for dog(s) to be adequately cared for in the ‘Client’s’ absence. (i.e., food, medication, leads, tags, collars etc). Should dog(s) require any additional supplies whilst in ‘Our’ care, these will be purchased and added to the bill.
  5.  If it is necessary for keys to be given to ‘Us’, then these must be given to ‘us’ on the day of the induction and logged on the client information.
  6. The ‘Client’ must provide ‘Us’ with a signed Veterinary Authorisation form. In the absence of which and if we are unable to contact the client ‘We’ reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and decide which is in the best interests of the dog. Any costs incurred are the ‘clients’ responsibility.
  7.  ‘We’ must be alerted to any behavioural problems with ‘your’ dog(s) at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in additional charges and/or cancellation.
  8.  Although ‘We’ hold Public Liability insurance, our insurance has asked us to state that wherever possible dog(s) should be insured by the ‘Client’. ‘We’ reserves the right to refuse a booking for any animal which is not insured.
  9. ‘We’ will care for your dog(s) as ‘you’ would and make every effort to ensure your pet is well looked after in your absence however our insurance has also said we must state that ‘We’ cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or death to your dog either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care (also includes to any property) that is not due to our negligence. (For example, but not limited to you wanting your dog off the lead and they have eaten something they shouldn’t).
  10. Your booked time is estimated only and whilst we make every effort to arrive on the time given, depending on road conditions and unforeseen circumstances, please allow approximately 30 minutes after your booked time slot for ‘us’ to attend. In adverse weather conditions please understand that we are still open but may be slightly delayed.
  11. ‘You’ also give ‘Us’ permission to transport ‘your’ dog(s).
  12. Besides being a legal requirement. ‘We’ also require that all dogs are chipped and have an ID tag on their collar or harness.
  13. ‘You’ understand that this form acts as permission to hold keys to ‘Your’ property which ‘you’ have provided willingly (if signed on the Client Onboarding and information).
  14. By filling in the email details ‘you’ agree for us to use your address to contact you using this address. We will NOT pass any of your contact details to any third party. You may opt-out of this initially by not filling in these details or by replying to any email and asking ‘us’ to stop using.
  15. GDPR: Your personal details will be stored in paper format, a copy of which will be scanned and stored in a pdf so that we can access any vital information when we are out. A further paper copy will be left with you at the time of induction. Our copies will be kept for as long as the law requires and then deleted/destroyed. Your information will not be passed on to any third party save for legal reasons or a vet for the welfare of your dog.
  16. ‘You’ agree that we may update these terms and that ‘you’ are able to see our current terms and conditions online at any time. (see http://p4aw.co.uk.clientserv.co.uk/terms )

    Terms and Conditions – Dog Walking
    1. ‘We’ must be notified at least 1 week in advance to cancel regular weekly dog walks. For dog walks which are for 1 or 2 walks a week, we must be notified at least 48 hours in advance if you would like to cancel, or you will still be charged for the session.
    2. All dogs being exercised must be fully vaccinated and on a regular flea and worm control regime.
    3. All dogs being walked will undergo a trial period to ensure that they are adequately trained and socialised.
    4. ‘We’ reserve the right to cancel the contract at any time & with immediate effect if the dog does not respond well to us and/or other dogs.
    5. All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless ‘you’ agree otherwise. If ‘you’ agree to allow your dog(s) to be let off the lead ‘you’ also agree ‘we’ are not responsible if ‘your’ dog is lost or stolen or if he/she in-dangers itself or if they run away.
    6. The walker will apply personal judgement and cut short a walk, if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions (i.e. heat, thunderstorms) for the safety of both the dogs and/or ‘us’ and/or other dogs etc.
    7. ‘Client’s may make further requests to ‘us’ (e.g., feed, drop off elsewhere) which will take extra time out of your booked time. However, all walks/time slots are 30 minutes (Pups only) 1/2/4 hour(s) or full day long, which does not include travel time. To be clear the time to and from ‘your’ dog’s walk is on ‘us’
    8. Whilst we do not advertise the fact, we may add our own Tag / eTag to your pet’s collar/harness to allow us to find them should they decide to wander. You agree to keep this information confidential and confirm you allow us to do so and that this does not in any way make ‘us’ liable for any loss.Terms and Conditions – ‘Client’ absent collections
    1. ‘We’ will make adequate steps to ensure your home is safe and secure in your absence, however, ‘We’ cannot be held responsible for any burglaries or accidents caused by your pet(s).
    2. We have no issue with you ‘keeping watch’ but we respectfully request that you inform us of any recording (video/audio) of ‘us’ on your property.SMALL PRINT, we hate it too, so we always keep our current terms and conditions online where you can resize and read in comfort.
